My Xbox 360 Keeps Freezing Up - Find Out Why Does It Happen Here!

"Why is it that my Xbox 360 keeps freezing up?!" Is this the biggest frustrations you ever had since you started playing console games? I can bet more than 50% of Xbox 360 users are experiencing this Xbox 360 freezing up problem, so if your Xbox 360 keeps freezing up, you actually have a few options to stop xbox 360 from freezing up that you can do all by yourself.

During the whole troubleshooting process, there is one main reason my xbox 360 keeps freezing up - Overheating!

We all know that Xbox 360 is a simplified version of a high end gaming PC. When you play games with especially high requirements it gets busy on the inside and guess what - it freezes!

One of the things that I've done to prevent my Xbox 360 from freezing up as often as it did is to let it "breathe" more. Well, you can do this by simply taking out your Xbox 360 from the closed cabinet, or put it some where near the window to cool the system better.

Other than that, the another cause I suspected on why my Xbox 360 keeps freezing up is because of the internal hardware problem. You'll see it when this happens because your Xbox 360 will first freeze up and show you the 3 flashing red lights.

For this, you are now down with 2 choices, either you send your Xbox 360 back to Microsoft for a $140 fees plus 6 months of no gaming, or you can fix the Xbox 360 freezing up problem yourself. However, the electronics of Xbox 360 are not as simple as you might thought it is, a small error could damage the whole system.

Xbox 360 keeps freezing up no matter what you've done?

Learning from a step-by-step Xbox 360 videorepair guide is by far the best way you can do to save your time and cost to fix your Xbox 360 from freezing up. There are many guides out there that shows you how to open up your Xbox 360 and repairing it, but most of them don't include clear videos on the actual process.

A high-definition Xbox 360 video repair guide is exactly what you'll need to start working on it, all by yourself without any fancy tools, all you need are simple household tool kits.

3 Types Of Cheap Print Cartridges

Your printer ink cartridges play as big a part in the final quality of your print as the paper that you use. If you use cheap paper, your print quality will suffer and in many cases the same is true of using cheap print cartridges. This isn't always the case, however. Discount ink can be bought in a few different ways and each of them has advantages and disadvantages.

Refill Ink

The first option for cheap ink is to refill your empty cartridges. This is generally the cheapest of all the alternatives, but it is also tends to wind up with the lowest quality prints.

It'll depend on what brand and model of printer you have, but many of the newer printers are difficult to refill. It can also be quite messy because you're dealing with bottled ink, trying to inject it back into the empty cartridge.

Recycled Cartridges

There are plenty of companies that recycle cartridges for you. They basically take the empty cartridges, clean them up, refill the ink and test them.

This is more expensive than refilling your own because you're paying for the labor involved, but it tends to give you better results.

These companies have refilling and cleaning equipment that can do a much better job of remanufacturing your empty cartridge. They also generally offer a guarantee on their work, so if the cartridge doesn't work properly you can either get a replacement or get your money back.

Generic Brand Cartridges

Generic cartridges are not as common as the other two options, mainly because many printer companies have patents on their ink cartridges so no other companies can duplicate them.

There are some cartridges that you can find brand new generic replacement ink for. These generic cartridge are not recycled, they are new but they aren't made by the printer companies themselves.

These cartridges tend to be the highest priced of the three options, but they are still cheaper than the original cartridges, and work just as well.

Which option will be best for you is going to depend a lot on how much printing you do, and what you're printing. If you're printing photos that you want to be able to keep for a lifetime, you'll have different needs than if you're just printing copies of web pages for future reference.

Evaluating Internet Security Sites For Quality

computer internet security suite

There is no doubt that the modern world is more dependent than ever on personal computers and reliable internet access. At the same time, these computers and internet connections are becoming increasingly vulnerable to various internet threat security trends that are constantly cropping up. Often, it seems that there are so many choices in internet security software to combat these trends that it makes it very difficult for the average consumer to know which one is the best solution. Many are relieved to learn that they can turn to internet security review websites to help them sort through all of the selections.

While it is helpful to have a variety of websites that offer reviews on computer internet security suite software choices, consumers also need to be aware that not all of these software review sites are above board. The fact is that the quality of the information and the reviews that are provided can vary greatly. Poor reviews or outright misleading reviews can often lead PC owners down the wrong path. Because of this, these review website need to be looked at carefully in order to determine if they are truly providing valuable information, comparisons and feedback, or if they are simply a thinly veiled attempt to push a particular product.

The fact is that nowadays there are many who are purely motivated by greed when creating internet security review sites. They simply want to push a product that they will receive the best commission for. The more hefty the commission on a product, the more likely it is that the "reviewer" will skew his findings to highlight the internet security suite that will earn the highest commission.

This results in a great deal of misinformation on many of these sites and false reviews that try to make overpriced, high commission products look good to the unwitting consumer. However, this should not be taken to mean that all online security review sites are bad or misleading, but there are some things to look for to help the consumer feel more confident about the review they are reading and the internet security protection solution they ultimately buy.

In judging a website that offers product reviews, and this applies to any type of review site, not just sites that review internet safety products, the consumer should take a few moments to look over the site closely and asses the quality of the material that is being presented. Often, the affiliates who are after a juicy commission will spend very little time on the review site and will primarily repeat information that is available on the main website without offering any real insights or providing any useful information.

Another telltale sign of a poor quality security suite review website is that in many cases it will only review a couple of product and these reviews are posted anonymously and there is only one reviewer. The best internet security review websites will be structured in such a way that they encourage visitors to rate and review the products that are listed and add their own commentary. These are the kinds of review sites that offer visitors the best and most objective information and are a good way to avoid getting stuck with a product that is only being promoted because of a fat commission.

Galileo Galilei Astronomy

Galileo was born in Pisa, Italy in the late 1500's.  In his early career he taught math at a university, the beginnings of his fame.  It was as a math teacher that he first showed students that Aristotle was incorrect in his claim that a heavier object would fall faster than a lighter one. Aristotle was so popular that Galileo soon lost his teaching job, and so sought work in Padua.  It was here that his astronomy career began.

In Padua, Galileo invented the compass and began studying physics.  He developed formula for the path projectiles took, and for falling bodies.  These two ideas were key to astronomy as it progressed.  However except for an allegiance to the work of Copernicus over Ptolemy and Aristotle, Galileo claimed to be disinterested in astronomy.  Copernicus' theory was of a heliocentric solar system in which the planets circle the sun.  Aristotle and Ptolemy held that the solar system was centered around the Earth, and even the sun rotated around our home.  As time went by Copernicus, and Galileo, were proven correct.

When the spyglass was invented in Holland, Galileo learned of it and made his own telescope which he turned to the sky.  He used it to see features on the moon such as mountains and craters.  He also learned that the milky way was made up of individual stars.  He also saw four large moons orbiting Jupiter.  After publishing this information, he was named the royal mathematician in the court at Florence.  No longer having to earn a living teaching, he could spend more time exploring.  In only 9 months he determined that other planets had phases.  This further contradicted Ptolemy while proving that Copernicus was right.

Galileo's original dispute was with Aristotle's teachings.  Because so many agreed with Galileo his theories were widely published.  But because Aristotle's work elevated man to key position in all the universe, the church supported his work.  In 1614 a priest in Florence denounced Galileo Galilei Astronomy.  Galileo retorted that the bible has no bearing on science.  In 1616 Galileo was ordered to stop teaching that the Earth revolves around the sun.  Galileo complied, continuing his study of falling objects, comets, and methods to determine longitude at sea based on the phases of Jupiter's moons.  It was upon signing a document stating the Earth is stationary Galileo uttered a famous quote.  "I would say here something that was heard from an ecclesiastic of the most eminent degree; "And yet ... it moves."

Reverse cell phone look up : can be risky!

This can be called the era of communication. Things like VOIP and Instant messengers are quickly taking over. What was once the prime way of communication is referred to as “snail” male in today’s net jargon. If I was to send an email to someone in a different country he or she would have it almost instantly. We now have the ability to inquire about what our friend in China had for dinner and can get an answer before he eats supper.

Phone craze

More than a century passed since Mr. Graham made the first phone apparatus. During that time only scientists and the “1 percent of the population” were able to permit themselves such a luxury item. The primitive carbon transmitter allowed for a peerless speed of communication across great distances. At the time it probably seemed like it wasn’t going to get more convenient than that. However, the inception of cell phones surpassed all expectations.

Today’s cell phones are a far cry from the bulky back packs with antennas and 10$ a minute charges.

The phones we’re using today weight grams and are dirt cheap in comparison to their predecessors. The popularity and accessibility turned them into a “must have” item across all demographics. Things like reverse phone look ups and ring tones are the talk of the town. Some 3rd world countries are seriously considering providing their citizens exclusively with mobile networks instead of land ones. Cell phone towers are much cheaper in construction and maintenance which makes them an ideal alternative.

Public needs to be aware

Cell phones are great. But public needs to pay close attention to how they evolve. For instance a landline reverse phone look up can only give you the person’s postal location and name. In contrast, the reverse cell phone look up might provide you with the exact location of the individual (if he or she has GPS installed on the phone). This ability can be hazardous if it falls in the hands of the wrong people. Conversely an ability like that can be used for tracking lost children. Cell phone search is not the sole issue related to cell phones. Scientists are still debating if prolonged exposure to cell phone waves is linked to cases of brain tumours.

What’s the Key?

People’s elected representatives have to get more involved in these important manners. Average people should not have to worry about their safety and health and only a closely regulated cellular market can provide this safety.

Top Method to Learn Spanish

Best Spanish learning software and how I found one for my daughter. I think I have discovered the answer and will share it with the world. I have personally researched the subject for a good month to improve my daughter’s grades. I am kind of addicted to learning software in general. I love these types of games and I think that the mainstream media started recognizing the benefits of such “games” and is now paying more attention to them, you probably remember how popular “paint by numbers” was at one point. It is during my early adolescence that I have discovered it’s benefits.

It was during a computer class in high school that I realized how effective learning games are (first of its kind in my state). The teacher was not quite sure what to start with so we had to learn a bit of everything at the same time. That was the first time that I saw a computer and was eager to find out how the keyboard worked. During the first class we were taught how to type. To do that the teacher used a computer game that had a strange hairy creature and a long bridge that looked like an alphabet. You had to build a trail in front of the creature by pressing a series of keyboard buttons. If you were too slow the silly thing would step on an empty space and fall down. So in order to save its life you had to type the letters as quickly as possible. It was a clever way of mixing compassion with the learning of essential computer basics. Several weeks later my keyboard skills got so good that the creature never died.

It is the “fun” factor in these games that makes them so effective. If you find a learning game that looks more like a game and less like a study guide then I think you should stick with it (as long it has enough information). I used it when I discovered that my little angel was getting bad grades in her Spanish class. She was just a kid and the classes were probably boring her to death. I went to ask uncle Google about the best Spanish learning game and according to him and USA today there was one interesting little game which was being praised a lot. It featured a mouse like character which travelled with you across different worlds and taught you different Spanish words along the way. My daughter loved the game so much that at times it was hard to get her to eat. This caused better report cards in no time. I must admit that I’m guilty of playing the game myself, and I hablo Espanol a little bit too now. So what makes the Best Spanish learning Software is the fun factor, if it looks too “educational” it’s probably not the best kind. Believe me, I have seen the results.

Tips To Help You Improve Your Internet Safety Knowledge

computer internet security

Sometimes it seems that the term internet safety is somewhat of a contradiction in and of itself. There is no doubt that these days there are more and more internet threats that are targeting our computers and the personal information that they hold. As a result it is increasingly important for people to stay vigilant and to take the proper steps to make sure that internet security and computer protection is taken care of.

Knowing how to maintain the safety of your computer, your network and all of your files and information has become a real necessity today. Because so many people depend on their personal computer's these days, this is no longer a topic just for computer experts or for businesses, but for anyone who has a PC sitting on their desk or a laptop within their reach.

However, many people have no idea where to start to learn about internet safety, or how to protect their personal computers and their internet connection in order to keep internet threats to a minimum and have a sense that they have a high degree of computer internet security and protection in place. The following information will help provide some basic information that every computer owner needs to know and implement.

First of all, you need to be sure that you are using a firewall. If you take no other steps to toward internet security, the minimum that you need to do is to make sure you have a firewall up and running. A firewall will act as a barrier of protection between your computer and your connection to the internet and will prevent remote computers from being able to connect to yours unless you specifically permit it. If you have a broadband router, then there is a good chance that it includes a firewall. Also, these days most versions of both Windows and Mac operating systems include at least a basic level of firewall software to thwart any threats to your system.

Secondly, you must have a plan and system in place for backing up the data on your computer. At best, you will backup your entire drive so that it can be restored in its entirety if your hard drive crashes. At the bare minimum, you should be sure that your most critical files are backed up; the kind of files that would really hurt and cause you a loss of time or money, or both, if you had to try to replicate them. There are many systems available these days that make backing up your data automatic and virtually hands free.

The third thing you should do to help make sure that you enjoy the best level of online safety for your computer system is to make sure that all of the critical software you use is kept updated. In addition, you need to make sure that any software you own that interacts with the internet, such as your preferred web browser, is kept up to date. Software manufacturers continually update their programs in order to help maintain their own internet security systems for their users, which help to combat various viruses and other threats.

Finally, you should make sure that you diligently and regularly scan your computer for viruses and for spyware that might have gotten past your firewall and gotten installed into your computer. There are a number of free programs that will scan for safety breaches.

Some of these internet security protection programs will then require the user to purchase a license for their software so that the program will remove the viruses and the spyware programs it has detected. However, there are some security software programs that remain completely free to use. It is important to note that an internet security review will more than likely recommend the purchase of an internet safety program, as the ones that are free often do not do a good job at eliminating the destructive software from your system.

Here's a few detective tricks that are now available for anyone to use

Hey - call me a geek if you choose, but since I was young I have been fascinated by detective gadgets.  As a child I was a huge detective story fan and was constantly buying different spy gadgets.  Yeah I know - I'm a huge nerd!

Ok, so today I don't read Sherlock Holmes anymore, but I can't help but be fascinated by a few of the tools that are out there.  And instead of ordering fancy gadgets from comic books, I now go online to check out detective tricks.

The world wide web makes it possible to do background searches on just about anybody just by clicking a mouse button a few times.  Let's take a look at two of the tricks I will use a lot.

You might have heard of a cell phone reverse look up.  This tool lets you type in a telephone number and then discover details on who owns the phone.  Just by typing in the number you can find out someone's full name, complete address and all types of other background information.

This will be useful in a bunch of situations.  There might be situations when I don't recognize a number that keeps showing up on my call display or I have even gotten texts that I didn't recognize who the number belonged to.

The next one I use is an online criminal background check.  You can discover tons of details on anyone just by typing in their name at a background search site.  I like that these searches are instant and display to you the individual's full criminal record (if any), marriage records, employment records and a whole bunch of other details.

These little tricks make me feel like a detective right from my computer.  It's really cheap to use either of these tools and they come in handy in all sorts of situations.  Hope you like it!

How To Stop Spyware With Removal Software

Over the years spyware has become a bigger and bigger problem for most computer users. Everything from poor performance to stolen personal information has been caused by spyware. This is why it is important to do something about these nasty little programs siting on your computer. Today we will take a look at adware spyware removal.

Do You Have Spyware

Over time many people find that their computer has become slower and more unstable. This may be a sign that your computer may have spyware. Another common sign is many pop ups on your computer. Many times when you have spyware you will have pop ups that are not related to the sites you visit. In many cases you may have pop ups even when you are not surfing the Internet at all.

The good news is that you can get rid of this spyware with some spyware adware removal software. This can be as simple as downloading the sfoware and letting it scan your computer. Once the software is done scanning it will come up with a list of the software on your computer that may be harming your machine. It should be noted that not all of the stuff it picks up is bad. Only some of the software it picks up would be considered harmful. It will be up to you to decide what out of that list should be deleted.

Once you do have some good spyware removal software you should scan regularly. At least once a week would be a good idea. For many it may even be a better idea to have your PC scanned once per day. You should be able to set things up so that the software will scan automatically at the time you assign it to do so. A great example of this is how I have my PC scan for spyware and viruses every night while I am off to sleep.

Another thing you should be aware of is the need to keep your spyware software up to date. There are always new spyware and viruses coming out. The only way you can protect yourself against these new spyware programs is to keep your spyware protection up to date.

Using Information and Communication Technology in Schools

The use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) can benefit schooling in a number of ways.  Firstly it can hugely increase the quality of teaching by allowing teachers to utilise modern technology.  A consequence of this is that standards are driven up as pupils benefit from the competemporary teaching methods.  One example of this is the use of high speed internet access within schools - pupils are able to access billions of pages of useful data relating to almost any topic imaginable. Contrast this with how information used to  be sought via encyclopedias in Libraries.

TThe Depart for Education works with a series of other public bodies including...

-NCSL (National College for School Leadership)
-QCA
-SSAT (Specialist Schools and Academies Trust)
-TDA (Training and Development Agency)

Shock as Apple pull out of Macworld Expo

In a shock and surprising move, Apple has said that it is to abandon the annual tech seminar event called, 'Macworld' after this years January event. News is still circulating that Steve Jobs, the CEO for Apple will not be addressing the seminar after more fears about his health. Steve Jobs suffered a bout of pancreatic cancer four years ago and it is reported that concerns have risen once more.

An Apple spokesman, Steve Dowling said that he did not want to discuss the issue of Steve's health and said that the reason they are pulling out of the Macworld seminar is because they are not relevant to the company audience anymore. "Apple is steadily scaling back on trade shows and in recent years is reaching more people in more ways than ever before", Mr Dowling stated. It is reasonably understandable considering that over 3.5 million people visit various Apple retail stores and much like any other company, trade shows are a small part of how they can reach their audience. Although Apple have scaled back on the trade shows they have put more money into promoting their promotional adverts on TV and on the internet like they have in September this year to launch the new 3G iphone which has proved widely popular with fans.

The Macworld expo is regarded by many people as the highlight of the year for Apple fans as new products are introduced by the charismatic and much loved, Steve Jobs. However Steve's last appearance at the Macworld expo shocked many worried fans as he appeared extremely gaunt and weak. All we can hope is that Steve recovers as soon as possible as he truly is a loved character amongst the Mac world. The main thing obviously is that Steve recovers as soon as possible. I can understand Apple's choice to back out of trade shows however it is important for your audience to interact and relate to a face on the company and Steve Jobs performs this job very well indeed.

Im an Apple Mac - What are you?

I have only just seen the new adverts from Microsot starring Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld. The latest ad campaign from Microsoft is an attempt to compete with the infamous Macguy adverts that people know and love.

I myself use a mac and I wouldn't use anything else. At work I use a pc and I can instantly tell the difference in usability and work flow. There is no comparison. Getting work done on a mac is ridiculously easier it is a joke. Why? One simple answer is that it just works and will never let you down! Nothing will ever let you down on a mac. I have had my macbook for about one year and I have never had to call up "task manager" to close a program down, I have never had to take it into the mac store and tell them something has blown up or something has gone wrong, it has been my perfect tool in designing.

Don't get me wrong I know that windows machines can be useful. However, it would completely depend where and when you are using a windows machine. It is a known fact that in a battle between Microsoft and Mac there is only one winner. At the moment, it would have to be Microsoft of course. It hurts me deeply to admit this but it is a fact. They have the market under their thumb only because of the fact they were first on the "scene" and have been for so many years. PC's are cheap, affordable and easy to chuck into a school, home, office for a few hundred pounds.

A MAC requires a bit more thought and risk. People ask themselves about spending all that cash on a machine they dont well, whether or not it is worth it or not. 'Will I be able to adapt after being so use to a Microsoft pc?' This is primarily the problem with anyone wanting to purchase a MAC. People are scared. What people don't realise is that a MAC may cost slightly more money but the benefits are un-surmountable. You buy a PC and expect it to last for a few years if your lucky! I buy my MAC and expect it to last for ten years, easily with no problems! So what is more expensive? Having to continuously buy more and more PC's over the space of ten years or just having one machine, one MAC that you know will last you.

It arguable to say that a lot of Microsoft software from the past had originally been based on Macintosh programming but that is still not confirmed. Either way, this battle between a MAC machine and a Windows machine will always rage on for many years to come! But I would personally never ever spend one penny on a Windows machine ever again.

The Best of the Best in Computer Magazines

Technology touches every one of our lives here in the United States.Advances in technology has been involved with you in ways that we now take for granted, whether you were born yesterday, or 90 years ago.IThere is an average of two computers per household in the US.  In the age group 15 to 24 nearly one in five possesses a cell phone.1 in 5 of US residents over 12 now own an MP3 player and one in twenty own more than one.Light Speed advances, how do we keep up with all this technology?  Computer Magazines contain all the information we need to learn about new devices and upcoming gadgets. The articles on technology us understand about Future technologies that will break through and will change many of our devices that we own today.

If you are reading this article at this moment you are most certainly using IT, although you may not know what it stands for.IT, abbreviation for information technology.  Information technology is all about the world of computers. In the widest sense of the term, it means the processing, managing, and editing of information stored in computer databases and on the Internet at large. This includes software and computer generated entertainment. There are Computer Magazines to weed through this information and guide you along certain aspects of the procedure.

For instance home computers have evolved from simple word processing to multimedia gaming monsters.  Kids can perform Internet research for school as well as download music and playing realistic games.  Articles on home technology in computer magazines offer information on updates to the software and games as well as new hardware that makes the computer faster and more dependable.

And what about cell phones, once only the rich had in their cars, now everywhere you look kids, students, adults, businessmen and woman and even grandparents have cell phones.Cells phones functionality ranges from simple to advanced. Many cell phones offer text messages to be sent back and forth over the phones. The more advanced phones have computer operating systems and function similar to a laptop. They can email, browse the Internet, compose documents, keep schedules and receive calls.

Future articles on technology in Computer Magazines even cover cutting edge topics.Nanotechnology, one of the hotest topics today.Nanotechnology structures are extremely small, therefore allowing electronics to be created equally as small.  For example a computer hard drive can be created using nanotech and small enough to fit on the head of a pin. This technology is far from everyday use, and closer than you think, but on the way none the less.Even the Medical Field is not immune to major advances in technology.More lives are saved than ever before due to the advances made intechnology, and how it is used to get medication assist when we are ill.

{The Windows Registry – Microsoft's Best Sales Man}

In the late nineties and early noghties the computer industry was advancing at an incredible rate with a brand new computer being virtually obsolete only a year later. This was great news for Microsoft as every time a computer became obsolete people would buy a new one and with that they would buy a copy of Microsoft Windows. This made for a simple equation from Microsoft's point of view more computers getting bought equals more copies of Microsoft Windows getting bought. These were indeed happy times for Microsoft. Then things started to slow down in the computer industry and computer were lasting longer without becoming obsolete. So of course Microsoft made less money. Although Microsoft had a built in safe guard against these slowing sales and this is the Windows Registry. If its deliberate or not I wouldn't know you would have to ask Bill Gates but the fact of the matter is the Windows Registry corrupts over time and causes your computer to slow down so you think you need a new one. The fact is you don't need a new computer there is nothing wrong with what you have. You need a Windows Registry Fixer!

You see you can save yourself a lot of money by purchasing a Windows Registry Fixer rather than a new computer. Most Windows Registry Fixers will allow you to scan your computer for free to check for errors and only charge if you decide to fix them and even then its only about $30. What I find interesting is that Microsoft make only a token effort when it comes to publishing these Registry Fixers. Now I am not saying Windows registry errors are a deliberate sales tool constructed by Microsoft but what I am saying is they are a very convenient error for them. Identity Theft - Are You Making It Easy.

With the shopping season in full swing even though we are experiencing a difficult time across all industry sectors there is one business that is surpassing even the mighty retail giants in full Christmas swing when it comes to growth, sadly though for many victims the particular industry in question is identity theft.

Combating the risk of identity fraud should be high on everyone’s agenda but some people are still unsure what it actually is. Without putting to fine a point on it, it is literally the theft of your identity both personal and financial. An alias using your identity and financial information could literally drain your accounts and put you into debt into the bargain.

Are you aware for example how easily somebody could obtain a copy of your birth certificate or even a copy of you bank account details? Unfortunately the answer is far too easy.

Applying a little common sense can go a long way with a little change in your thought processes. For example the next time you receive one of those annoying “you’ve been pre approved” credit card offers, before you throw it straight in the bin ask yourself why you are happy to give the chance to a complete stranger to obtain your (all but your signature) completed form. That’s surely asking for trouble.

If you bank online and don’t consider any of the above a risk then, you still need to consider your internet usage habits. We have all been educated to not use the same passwords and serial numbers for all our accounts and transaction, but living in the real world we all struggle to remember numerous password and user combinations and tend to use the same one leaving ourselves wide open.

Is your antivirus updated regularly, do you always download the updates as they come in, will LATER be soon enough, or will it be too late? When you upgrade your computer systems, a new laptop for Xmas a bargain in the sales or maybe an online auction purchase, how do you dispose of your old system, in particular your hard drive?

It is much easier than you think for a computer technician to recover your details from your hard drive, even when you think you have deleted them. Or for a data recovery expert to recover the deleted partition when you formatted or wiped them off with free software; after all a data recovery company can recover your information even if it’s a few months out of date.

Did you know you can have a hard drive which you no longer require either shredded or securely wiped so that your details are no longer recoverable?? The drive can be physically shredded into little pieces even the top data recovery companies or jigsaw enthusiasts could not reassemble your data then, like wise the drive can be secure wiped and just the motor and heads used for parts by hard drive recycling companies.

To find out more about secure data wiping and hard drive disposal call or speak to your local data recovery services company. For visit here for more great computer and laptop repair help.

Office Repair

There is nothing worse then needing to get a word document done or an e-mail sent out and not being able to.  Of course this will happen at the worst possible time for you.

Office 2007 errors and office 2003 errors are very common. Many times this happens when you install a newer version over an older one.  You may find that after doing research on the issue or error code that it is not an easy fix and involves going into your computer registry.

If your office software is acting up then check out this office 2007 repair. These guys are the leading online computer repair company.  Not only do they guarantee their work but they have a no fix no fee policy.  I have personally used them before for my office 2007 issue and they resolved it right online and for a great price.

For those that want to try and repair the issue themselves you can always try to uninstall all versions of office and then reinstall it.  This does resolve the issue sometimes but most of the time it does not.  A free tool you can check out is the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility.  This tool is rather simple to use and it’s free from the Microsoft website.  This tool basically removes any files that the normal Windows add and remove program tool does not.For those that are not tech savvy you may find these tools hard to use and they will not always resolve your issues.  If you are a do it yourselfer it is well worth a look.

The most common issue people have with office is setting up an outlook account.  If you have issues many ISP’s offer step by step setup guides on their website.  That is the best place to look for help on setting up your outlook account.  Many ISP’s also offer free support for setting up outlook.  They will not help to resolve other office related issues but can at least help setup your e-mail account.

If the above free tools did not work for you then you really should consider having this
pc repair site repair office for you.  The cost is low and you can have your issue fixed then and there.

It would be nice if office did not let you install a newer version over the older one.  There is no reason to have the old version present and because it often causes issues they should at least warn you about installing the newer version over the old.

Stopping Virtumonde

Trojan Virtumonde is known as the biggest threat for computers these days. Think of a Trojan as a normal virus that goes into work at a set date and time or when a certain function is performed like opening up a web broswer. This virus enters your computer with your permission and infects your computer and threat level of it is high risk.

Trojan Virtumonde is a very serious threat and has caused a lot of computers to go down. The people whose computers were infected with Trojan Virtumonde reported that everything was working fine when just with a snap of a finger the computer just did not seem to be in control and now acting with its own mind.  Besides the constant pop-ups and re-directs many people will find their computer very, very slow.

You do have several options when it comes to removing this threat.  The easiest is to just hire a pro to remove this for you.  I know many of you already thought of this and that thought quickly left your mind after you thought of paying out a few hundred bucks and waiting several days to get your computer back.  The good news is this computer repair company can 100% remove Virtumonde and all other viruses for a very low price and they can do it right now.  This is the leading remote computer repair company on the web and they have a no fix no fee guarantee. It is important here to share the fact that the threat of Trojan Virtumonde is on the rise among other Virtumonde threats.

There is software out there that can remove this threat for you.  Check out this Trojan Virtumonde site.  They have several guides as well as other software to help you 100% remove all your viruses. This is the only dedicated Virtumonde removal site on the web.

The only other source that comes to mind to check out is this Virus Rmeoval site.  It has not been around all that long but they have some very simple to follow guides that you may find useful as well.for those that strugle with computer issues you really should consider having the pro's mentioned above take a look at this.

The World in High Def with Blue Ray

DVD movies began to be produce in the 1990's, and they became the dominant home video format sometime around 2000, a position that DVD's enjoy even today. However, with a storage capacity of only 4.7 Gb, home theater users require discs which can hold high definition content, DVD's simply do not have the storage capacity to hold all of that data. Therefore, nine leading electronics companies, including Sony, Samsung, and Sharp, began developing a next generation movie format to hold high definition video to usher in a new era of the home theater. With the so called “blue ray” specifications finalized, the average consumer can now afford to watch movies in high definition.

Comparison

The biggest difference between the DVD (digital versatile/video disc) format and the Blue ray format is that DVD players use a red laser to read data while Blue ray players use a blue/violet laser to read data. Basically, the shorter wavelength of the blue/violet laser means that Blue ray discs can store more data in the same amount of space, resulting in a limit of 50 Gb of data as opposed to 4.7 Gb for DVD. However, this has resulted in the players being much more expensive (at least initially) than DVD players, and adoption rates have been slow because of the following reasons (besides cost).

Average consumers have been confused in this recent “format war” between Blue ray and its rival format HD-DVD in the high definition home video market. The market was split nearly 50/50 in the beginning as vast marketing efforts in both areas and an even split in endorsements from large movie studios like Disney and Universal, with only two studios (Warner Bros. And Paramount) supporting both formats, although Warner Bros. will be Blue ray exclusive on May 31, and Paramount is already exclusively HD-DVD. As it currently stands, about 45% of planned and released titles are available on HD-DVD and 70% on Blue ray.

Besides this reason, Blue ray discs have picked up the pace as all of Sony's PS3s can play Blue ray movies, with millions of consumers using their video game console to play movies on. An HD-DVD drive for Microsoft's X-Box 360 was only available as an addition while the PS3 had built in support. If you are looking to have a brand new experience with movies where you are immersed into the action, then check out Blue ray players and movies.

If you are looking for cool gadgets or spy gadgets look no further. You might also want to take a look at our Computer Tutorials.

USB Memory Sticks - Don’t Buy A Fake

USB Flash Memory storage devices are a practical and highly portable method of storing and moving data between places. Flash Memory is highly practical for this task as it has no moving parts, supports fairly large storage and if used properly has very little chance of failing in any serious manner.

Unfortunately recently there has been a massive increase in the failure rate of these previously ultra reliable USB devices, so much so that the data recovery sector is now placing a lot of emphasis and time on USB memory stick recovery. The question has to be asked however what is the problem all of a sudden?

As with any storage technology over time costs drop and adoption increases and the humble USB memory stick is testament to this paradigm. From the time the technology went mainstream it has had a massive growth rate and recent years have seen a doubling of sales year on year . The expectation for the end of this year is expected top be circa three hundred million.

With such large numbers of devices actually being shipped and purchased by the consumers and increase in the number of failures is in reality inevitable, however the actual level of failure is a cause of concern and is reported to be running far higher than is acceptable.

When a previously very reliable product starts to have increased failure rate, just as in any industry the repairers (in this case the data recovery companies) start to ask why and often collaborate on their findings. Investigations have started to reveal that the actual memory chips in the drives have not failed at all and are working just as expected.

The failures are normally attributed to poor manufacture quality by mushroom companies in Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and China. These devices often make their way on to the market as unbranded devices, however there are huge problems with fake devices as noted by a leading and respected UK Based Data recovery company in this article:

Nand Flash Identity Fraud

These fake devices are intended to appeal to the greed emotion that is prevalent in all but a few consumers, but just because it is cheaper does not mean it is better. The manufacturing process may be cheaper in different world economies but the other factor that is immeasurable by the consumer is the quality of the components. Lower standard components are cheaper but just don’t last the distance in a lot of cases.

The best advice that anyone can give you here is to buy branded devices if the cost is affordable (which it generally is). And also ask your self this question, is the risk of losing all my data really worth risk of saving a relatively small amount of money?

You can find more great advice on data recovery here or for general computing advice visit the computer repair website.

HDTV Flat Screen TV - How LCD and Plasma Vary In Technology

It can be difficult to find an HDTV flat screen TV that is within budget and gives value for the money. However, the search is worthwhile when you see your favorite movie with a clear picture and crisp, clean sound. So how do you go about finding an HDTV flat screen TV that is worth the money and will last well? It is true that there is no way to know definitively how long your flat screen TV will last or how valuable it will become. Nonetheless, it is possible to shop smart and make good buying decisions.

The first thing you need to know is that there is a difference between plasma TV sets and LCD  screens. Both are featured with HDTV flat screen TV technology and both are rather thin and flat, making them easy to place anywhere in your home, but they feature two different technologies. Your HDTV flat screen TV comes in two different types: plasma and LCD. There is no such thing as a plasma LCD TV.

Plasma televisions are only available in the widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio. This is the standard ratio for a HDTV flat screen TV. As a rule, plasma televisions are high definition ready. Most plasma flat screen televisions range in screen size from 42 inches to 63 inches, although both larger and smaller versions are available.

LCD televisions tend to be smaller, anywhere from 15 inches to 65 inches. The smaller LCD screens are often utilized as computer monitors. The LCD HDTV flat screen TV is actually lower in price than plasma when you're dealing with the average size of display for the screen, but the larger LCD screens can be significantly more expensive.

There are some product differences between HDTV flat screen televisions that are plasma and LCD. Some of these differences include:

* LCD televisions have lower contrast levels than plasma televisions, meaning that they have a harder time reproducing dark colors and grays
* LCD televisions have slower response times, sometimes creating blurs during fast-paced action sequences in movies or in sports
* LCD televisions have a narrower viewing angle, but can be easier to view in well-lit rooms
* LCD televisions run cooler than plasma televisions
* Plasma televisions are of lower quality when paying lower prices

There are also other differences between the two television types. The best way to learn the differences is to experience both plasma and LCD HDTV flat screen televisions in a department store or a home electronics store. Sit and watch both television sets, change angles and try to see the TV from the sides. This will give you a better indication as to how the technology works and will help you decide which TV HDTV best suits your tastes.

Does the lack of clarity in your television picture have you ready for an upgrade? Are you ready to view your preferred movies or even possibly your favorite sports teams in a crystal clear picture with accurate color as well as detail? If so, then you might be ready to make the switch over to high definition TV. With a bigger assortment of high definition television channels now furnished by the vast majority service providers, now is the time to upgrade to a high definition television which will support those particular channels. Printer Ink - Choose Carefully

Ink cartridges made by the printer manufactures are expensive.  One can't argue that the lower priced generic brands or the refill kits are appealing.  There are a few things to be considered, however, before making the switch to save money.

There are two sides to the debate. On one hand, the printer companies all claim these discount ink cartridges can cause your print quality to suffer or even damage the printer. Some go as far as to say they will void your warranty.

On the other hand, the companies that sell the remanufactured cartridges and refill kits claim that these stories are just hype to make you buy the original cartridges.

The truth is somewhere in the middle. Yes, it's true that the original brand of printer ink cartridge will give you the best possible print quality, but that doesn't mean you can't get the same kind of results with a cheaper option.

The deciding factor is the ink quality.  All companies use different types of ink in their cartridges.  The ink is what will determine what type of quality prints you get.

Each printer is manufactured to use a certain type of ink.  If you do not use the type of ink required by your particular printer you could harm your printer and you will sacrifice the quality.  Also certain inks are made to be used with certain paper.  The wrong combination there will also affect your print quality.

The key when buying a discount printer ink cartridge or a refill kit is to be sure the ink is compatible with your particular brand and model of printer.

Avoid buying from cartridge manufactures that put the same kind of ink in all of their cartridges.  They are clearly not concerned with giving a quality product and their cartridges will most likely not work well on any printer type.

When choosing your ink, make sure the company uses the correct type of ink that will work properly with your printer. And be sure they offer a money-back guarantee in case you have any problems.

With careful shopping you will be able to find cartridges that are compatible with your printer, you will not sacrifice the quality of your prints and you will save money.

The Real Secret To Saving Money On Inkjet Cartridges

Anyone who has ever had to buy a cartridge for an inkjet printer, or any inkjet printer products for their business knows that they are not cheap at all.  And Businesses need to be able to print a host of paperwork throughout the day like invoices, announcements, and reports.

Ink cartridges in printers used at a place of business wind up needing to be changed more often, since they are also used day after day, constantly.  Buying ink cartridges from an office supply store in the area can become extremely expensive.  Ordering ink cartridges for your business's printers online can turn out to be a much cheaper solution.

Buying printer ink, or any inkjet printer products on the Internet can save you money for two big reasons.  Since online stores that sell ink have a lower overhead, they are able to offer much lower prices than other shops or manufacturers who use their own special brand of ink. An online ink retailer hopes to sell enough to make up for the savings they offer their customers.

Recycled or remanufactured ink cartridges sold under a generic brand name, are another option to lower the cost of your business's printing.

Remanufactured ink cartridges are original manufacturer cartridges that, after having been used up, were thoroughly cleaned, refilled with generic ink, and tested to insure quality.  They are at the same quality level as the original cartridges.

In recent years the remanufacturing process has improved greatly over the way it was once conducted.  The grand majority of individuals who use remanufactured ink cartridges claim that their results are equal to if not better than results with the original ink cartridges.

One USA Today article said that the price of remanufactured ink cartridges is 85% less than that of their original counterparts.  Just imagine the savings that could build up by using remanufactured cartridges for several months or years!

Businesses, especially offices, need to be able to print countless documents.  To do so, they need lots of printer ink.  Saving money on ink cartridges is a great way to reduce the total operating cost of your business.

Cleaning Your Computer Registry

Common advice is that you do not need to run a registry cleaner with the newer Microsoft operating programs such as XP and Vista.  Because these operating systems are based on Windows NT instead of the registry, invalid or corrupt registry keys should not adversely affect your PC's performance.

Despite the fact that you have an XP or Vista operating system, you could still have bad registry keys that are messing up your PC performance, particularly if you recently removed adware, spyware or other malware from your computer.

If your software is not running efficiently, it is worth your time to check out the registry.

Microsoft's operating systems come with a function called 'regedit' that you can access from the 'start/run' command.  When you access regedit, you will see the entire contents of your registry folder.  This will give you direct access to your system registry, where you can identify and remove any bad or corrupt keys.

The non-technical computer user does not understand what the registry keys mean.  Non-technical people will be glad to know that there are some free or cheap software programs available that will identify any bad keys.  These programs will either delete the bad keys automatically or allow you to manually delete the invalid keys through a series of prompts that the registry cleaner software produces.

Be cautious about downloading free registry cleaners or antivirus programs.  Some of these programs include malicious code such as spyware or trojans that can cause a lot of PC trouble for you down the road.  If you prefer not to spend money on a registry cleaner, download from a trusted service like cNet that verifies that your freeware is free of malware.

If your software programs are not running efficiently, visit the NotGuru blog's computer tips section, where you will find a step-by-step tutorial on how to clean your registry.  For easy reference, the tutorial includes screen shots, and also recommends trusted registry cleaner software.

Antispyware Software Can Stop Internet Criminals

There is no doubt that technology affects most people who live anywhere other than third-world countries. It is difficult to go through a day without the need to put some type of technology to work. The most common and powerful piece of technology for most people is the personal computer that they use at home and at work. Because people and businesses are now so dependent on their computers, it is essential that they make sure to have effective antispyware software installed and running on their systems.

Like just about every type of advancement made throughout time, there are associated positives and negatives. When it comes to the technological advancements that surround us today and which are so much a part of our lives, there is no difference. In many ways, technology is a two edged sword, bringing about conveniences and expanding capabilities in ways many people had never dreamed of, yet at the same time bringing with it some alarming and numerous internet threats to every person who uses a computer to access the internet.

Most people are aware of identity theft products thanks to companies such as Lifelock but losing your social security card isn't the only way to have your identity stolen. Hackers are constantly prowling the internet looking to steal an identity.

To combat these nefarious internet threat security trends of today, be sure that any computer you operate and use to access the internet has current and robust antispyware software installed and running on it. It is not enough simply to have this type of internet security software installed; you must also make sure that it is constantly updated.

Any internet threat that is instigated by cyber criminals of the world is constantly changing in an effort to stay one step ahead of even the best antivirus and antispyware programs on the market. Because of this, it is imperative that you update your antispyware and other computer internet security software frequently.

These days, many of the top-of-the-line internet security suite software packages are designed to automatically check for updates and download them without any intervention from the computer user. This can all happen seamlessly in the background so that other work and important tasks are not interrupted, yet the internet safety software is always functioning at the best possible level. The only requirement for these automated software updates to happen is for the computer to be running with the application running in the background or on a system level, and making sure that the computer is connected to the internet.

Most antispyware software packages will check for updates at least once a day. If an update is found, then the patch will be downloaded and the program will restart to make the new changes effective. Yet there is a program that offers the highest level of updates available today. The Kaspersky internet security program will update itself on an hourly basis, making it the program that is best able to respond to new threats more quickly, over any other safety application.

Oh the blessings and curses that the internet brings. On one hand the internet is used by most people daily to keep up with friends, work or play games. On the other hand it leaves your computer wide open to malicious software that can bring your computer to a screeching halt. If you use the internet then you need to be concerned with internet safety. All it takes is one vicious virus or Trojan and you could find yourself with a jacked up computer.

Stopping Antivirus 2009 before it's too late

As a computer repair expert I do my best to track common threats and learn as much as possible about new and existing threats.  Over just the last 2 weeks we have seen a huge surge in antivirus 2009.  Because of this we have written a few guides to help people understand this threat and teach them how to fully remove this as well.

For a more detailed guide head over to here to our antivirus 2009 removal page.  There you will find a very detailed hands on guide that takes you step by step in the removal process.  You should note that you may need to purchase software to fully remove other threats as well.

Being infected with Antivirus 2009 is a clear indication that you have other threats installed on your computer as well.  It is very common to have virtumonde and the zlob trojan as well.

Because of this you may want to consider hiring professional help to fully remove all viruses and spyware.  I know how hard it can be to have your computer in a shop and hiring a tech to come out can cost upwards of 300 dollars.  Here is a great online computer repair company that removes viruses and spyware online.  Not only are they inexpensive but you can have your computer back and running in just an hour and you never have to wait in line. These guys are the best at what they do.

The most annoying thing about antivirus 2009 is how it constantly re-directs you to their home page.  I know you are with me on this. This product is also clasified as scareware as it trys to trick the user into making a quick purchase.  They try to make the user think they are being hacked in the hopes your emotions will get the better of you and you hand over your credit card information. Many lawsuts are in the works against this company but because it is based over seas little action will most likely happen.  Unfortunately this never ends.  You should consider purchasing real time protection to fully remove this threat and so you do not get infected again. Our removal guides located on the site highlighted above is sure to get you on your way.

Three Kinds of Inexpensive Ink Cartridges

The quality of the pages you print is greatly affected by the paper and the ink cartridge that you choose to use.  Cheap paper can reduce your printer's quality, and even though it is not always true, cheap ink cartridges can also cause your printer to produce images of a lesser caliber.  There are pros and cons when it comes to using each of the three different kinds of inexpensive ink cartridges.

Many companies clean used cartridges, refill them with ink, test them for quality, and then sell them as recycled cartridges.

Results from this option are better than those that refill ink tends to offer, but there is also a greater cost involved since you have to pay for the labor involved in the recycling process.

These companies have refilling and cleaning equipment that can do a much better job of remanufacturing your empty cartridge. They also generally offer a guarantee on their work, so if the cartridge doesn't work properly you can either get a replacement or get your money back.

Generic Cartridges

Due to patents on ink cartridges held by their manufacturers that make their reproduction illegal by other companies, use of generic cartridges is less widespread than that of the other alternatives.

Is it Time for a New Ink Cartridge in Your Epson Printer?

It is hard to find a better quality printer than an Epson.  You are almost guaranteed good prints with Epson products.  Knowing when to change your ink cartridge will help you maintain that good quality.

Epson makes it easy to know when it is time to replace your cartridge.  They put a light on the printer that flashes when the ink is running low, which means that you need to buy a new ink cartridge.

Second, with any Epson printer made in the last several years, the status monitor software that runs on your computer will also warn you when your ink is getting low.

The only thing is that at times these warnings do not come at exactly the right time.  Sometimes the warning is premature and sometimes it comes late.

Sometimes you get the warning in the middle of a big print job and it is to late to interrupt printing.  If you get the warning when the cartridge is about 75% empty you will most likely not have enough to finish a big print job.

If the warning occurs and you change your cartridge right away you could be wasting ink.  Usually when the indicator light flashes or the computer gives you the warning that you are running low on ink your cartridge is still ? full.

The fact is, you can run the printer right until the ink cartridges are completely empty. Once they run out of ink entirely, you can replace them then with a new ink cartridge. This lets you get the maximum use from the cartridges, without wasting any ink.

However, if you are going to do a big print job or you need to print photos it may be better to start with a new cartridge.  Yes you may still have some ink left in your old cartridge.  But it may be better to go ahead and loose that little bit of ink than to mess up your print job.

Ink Cartridges - Should You Buy Refills?

Ink cartridges are something that must be purchased frequently and can be quite expensive.  There can be big savings in buying refills rather than new cartridges.

Before deciding to go with a refill rather than a new cartridge, there are some factors that you may want to consider.

Printers are quite specific as to the type of ink that must be used for the printer to function property.  Refills that say they can be used for all types of printers may not be trustworthy.

You need to be sure to get a refill that is specifically compatible with your brand and model of printer, to get the best results.

Also you want to factor in what you are getting for your money.  You want to be aware of how many refills you are actually getting in a cartridge refill kit

A well-matched ink is not the only thing that has to be considered.  Cartridges do not function well forever.  If you continue to refill them after a while they will begin to perform poorly.  After a few refills the cartridges need to be replaced.

Most refill kits come with enough ink for filling a cartridge more than one time.  So when you have to replace your cartridge you can hold on to your remaining refill ink and when your new cartridge runs out you will be ready to refill it. You may also be able to save by buying refurbished cartridges.

Refill kits usually have a longer shelf life than cartridges do, often as much as 2 years. If you don't do enough printing in that time to use up the refill, it may not be the best option since you'll probably end up wasting part of it anyway.

The other common problem with cartridge refill kits is that they can be quite messy if you aren't careful when refilling them. Companies that refill empty cartridges have specialized equipment that makes it quite simple.

When you're doing it yourself, ink can leak or spill and it can make a real mess if you're not careful. Be sure to read through the refill kit instructions thoroughly before attempting the refill - probably a couple of times.

You may be able to find additional instructions online at the manufactures website.  If they have step by step directions with illustrations or demonstrations this could be very helpful.

Give yourself plenty of time on your first attempt to refill a cartridge.  It is a learning process and you don't want to be in a hurry.  If you have to get something out right away you don't want to be worrying about refilling your cartridge.  Set aside some time to learn to do it correctly.

The Review of a Masterpiece the Hdtv Reviews

The television has dominated the society that the people of the United States of America live in today. While many people such as naturists or outdoorsman will argue this statement like they were fighting Armageddon, the truth is the truth. It only goes to prove this fact when everyone needs more and more of it by going out and seeing a movie in the theatre. While other people will surely argue that there can be some form of exercise needed to go to the movie theatre, the shear effort is non-existent when a person is just sitting there and taking it while the movie is playing right in front of them. The television system has changed astronomically over the years first beginning with a regular black and white TV set that later became color. This eventually changed and the picture got a little bit clearer but not as clear as people would eventually change to like. These people however would not know there was an actual difference. Over the years the TV became bigger and these were known as Big Screen TV’s. The hdtv reviews will make the other TV’s of the generation look very bad and ugly. It is wonder how any review of any other TV was not made instantly when the big hdtv reviews came out

The hdtv reviews is showing the past and present and comparing each TV. Before the HDTV came out the only comparable device could possibly and arguably be the

projection screen which had higher resolution levels and is the obvious choice of all movie theatres. However IMAX and others can surely use a different system. hdtv reviews shows that these TVs are the most popular item out on the market today for TV’s and that the people will go out and get them to be up in up with the latest technology. It is a fad as of now as to how many people feel they need them to keep up with their neighbors or the people buying them actually want a better experience. The hdtv reviews is much clearer as to what exactly a person is getting for their money.

Before You Buy an HDTV

Before a person goes out a buys an HDTV the person should read the current hdtv reviews out there. The person may find deficiencies in the TV or the hdtv reviews may be completely off by a long shot. Either way an hdtv reviews is recommended otherwise a person will buy something that he or she wishes he or she did not buy.

We also recommend that you take a look at Gadget Reviews, especially the Display Reviews section to find out mor about the best gadgets on the market today

Ways To Speed Up Your Computer

Speed Up Your Old Computer

You have had your computer now for a few months or even years and now it seems to take forever to boot up and moving around is slow.  If you suffer from a slow computer don’t worry.By the end of this article you will know what you need to do to speed your slow computer up.

One of the first and probably the most helpful thing you can do is to get a computer tune-up.  Just like cars computers need maintenance.  You would never consider waiting years to change your car’s oil.  If you did then your car won’t last that long.In almost every case a PC should be fine tuned once a year if not every three months for every day users. While there are several online tools you can purchase to repair your registry and optimize your computer nothing beats a real expert taking a look at your computer.  No tune-up software will tell you if you have enough security protection or if you can add more memory to your computer.  Only a real pro will be able to look at the broader picture and let you know all the things you may need to consider.  Even if that news is to buy a new computer. Places like this pc repair Company do a great job at repairing computer right online.  This is a California based company and it’s like having the tech right in your home.Once you register you download a quick program that will allow them a one time access into your computer and then you can watch them work and talk to them at the same time.  They will also walk through installing memory into your computer if need be.  It’s not hard at all with a service like this.  It’s also cheaper then you think so check them out first.

If you know your way around computers then we have a little treat for you.  If this is you then consider a free 30 day trial of JV16 power tools.  Just Google that name and you will see them pop up first.  These guys offer a free fully functional trial for 30 days.  It’s well worth the download. This program is easy to use but not for people who do not have good computer skills, you may find it to do more harm then good in the wrong hands.

Another thing to consider is to max out your computer memory.  Each and every year computer programs and updates get bigger and bigger and need more memory to fully function.  Google memory configurator and plug in your computer model into any memory configurator program and you will be able to see how much memory and what type your computer can use.  This is one of the cheaper ways to get a little more life out of your computer.

If it comes down to it and you do need a new computer then consider checking out this computer to computer data transfer site.  Its good stuff and they have many guides on how to transfer files from XP to Vista and any computer to computer data transfer.
